Winter 2026 Newsletter

Hello ladies,

So we’ve got perfect weather for pruning the roses and no excuses needed for staying inside sewing the afternoon away!

Have you seen these book cushions? Very easy to make, just a simple cushion cover with a pocket at the front to tuck a book into! I added some farm animals from a Windflower kit to match the fabric, lots of fun to make and your little person will love it!!

I’ve got an update on the full range of flannel we’ve been waiting for – Flannel Season – it has been delayed until August (fingers crossed!!)

The all day classes that were held during the holidays have been a lot of fun – keep them in mind for the next school holidays in September. It’s a great way to really get stuck into a project, whether starting a new one or finishing off your current one. The class goes from 10.00 – 4.00.

Over the next few weeks you will notice that the shop is closed on random days. We have a very close member of our family who is going through a serious illness at the moment and I am supporting him wherever I can. If you’re venturing over to the shop please check on Google beforehand to make sure we are open as it will always be up to date, whereas the website may not be. At this stage the shop will be closed on Monday 13th July, but the rest of the week will be ok. Thank you for your understanding and I apologise if it causes any inconvenience for you. For ladies booked into classes I will always send a message.

Looking forward to all our weekly classes starting next week for term 3.

Take care, and remember to tell your close family and friends how important they are and how grateful you are to have them in your lives.

Warm wishes,

Therese
